We think two advisors working collaboratively with you provides the best balance of experience and expertise, thus affording you a better retirement planning and investment management experience.
Give us a call so we can schedule your initial appointment. We enjoy meeting in person and are happy to do so at our office, your home, or elsewhere. If a video or phone conference is better, we can do that as well. Our initial meeting usually lasts an hour. This gives us a chance to learn about you and your financial situation, as well as answer any questions you have about McClain Lovejoy. After our initial discussion, we’ll send a brief proposal of our services for your review.
The hardest part? Perhaps, but we’ll make it as easy as possible for you. First, we set up a secure online portal where you can easily upload the documents we need for your retirement and investment plan. Alternatively, we’ll also be happy to scan any paper documents you provide us. Next, we send you a very short risk questionnaire that you can complete online. This tool helps frame our investment conversations. Finally, we grant access to your online planning tool, which streamlines gathering data about your goals, objectives, and resources.
Once we’ve gathered all the necessary information we need from you, we’ll begin working on your retirement or investment plan. Usually within two weeks we schedule our initial plan presentation meeting, which typically lasts about 90 minutes. This enables us to explain our analysis and reasoning to help make the process as easy and transparent as possible right from the start.
Following our plan presentation meeting, we’ll send you an action checklist to implement your plan. In many cases, we establish an on-going partnership and assist with the implementation and management of your retirement plan. There’s nothing we love more than to build lasting relationships with our clients.
Why wait? It’s never too early to start planning for the future. If you’re ready to start taking positive action, then we’re ready and eager to help.
