When we first launched our business back in 2012 we put up a simple website so folks could find us online. Later we made a few enhancements, but always felt it was incomplete — there was constantly more to do.
Our goal was always to create a website that would be easy and enjoyable for our clients and new visitors to use; one that was beautiful, engaging, sleek, modern, and purposeful.
With this in mind, we realized we may not have the skill-set required to handle this alone anymore. We sought professional assistance and were excited to bring on a renowned design team to help bring our vision to life.
But wow, how we’ve exited with something even more wonderful, personal, and beautiful than we ever could have imagined.
I stumbled across a great looking site by a colleague of mine called Mom and Dad Money and wondered who designed the site. After seeing Matt in person, he encouraged me to use Hannah and Lee of Further Bound to help us tell our story.
After just one Skype call with Hannah, I was sold on using Further Bound. On one hand it was a large financial investment to complete all this work – at least I thought so initially, but as we went through the process I realized just how valuable it was to work with a professional. As the design work unfolded, it became apparent just how much value we were receiving.
It’s really hit home how important it is to focus only on those things we do really well, and engage with others when their expertise is beneficial for us and our clients.
Interestingly, this is exactly what clients face when trying to determine the value of a comprehensive retirement plan. Work done usually won’t pay off right away. Sometimes it takes months, and sometimes the benefits accrue over decades or even a lifetime.
Going forward we plan to create one or two blog posts per month just to keep you up to date with changes in the financial world and what we’re doing here at McClain Lovejoy. If you haven’t already seen it, Social Security just instituted some sweeping changes.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients — you are the very reason we embarked on this new design project in the first place. And to all our new visitors, thank you for reading this relaunch post! You can learn more about me right here or John over on his page.
We’ve also updated our service offerings and also added an FAQ page, along with lots of other new features that help streamline our overall user experience. And if you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for our newsletter via the box below.
We hope you will enjoy using our website as much as we enjoyed creating it, and would love to hear your thoughts. Is there something you really like, or a financial topic you’d like us to cover in a future blog post? You can share those in the comment section below or on our Facebook page.
